As we reach the end of another fantastic school year, we would like to thank all of our families for their continued support. It hardly seems possible that the year has gone by so quickly!

Scarecrow Festival

We were delighted to take part in the village Scarecrow Festival. Our teddy tombola and lucky bag stall raised £125 for pre school, and our fantastic Gruffalo scarecrow was awarded 2nd place.

A special thank you goes to Miss Maskrey for helping the children create our wonderful scarecrow.

Leavers’ Ceremony

We enjoyed a lovely Leavers’ Ceremony with our children and families. The children sang a selection of songs before being presented with their certificates and teddy bears, followed by refreshments. It was a wonderful way to celebrate their time at preschool and wish them well for the future.

Coffee Morning

Our Coffee Morning will be held on Saturday 26th September, from 10:00am to 11:30am.

This is a great opportunity to:

Welcome families to preschool.
Meet our staff and committee members.
Catch up with other families.
Allow prospective new families to look around our setting.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club runs every weekday from:

7:40am with breakfast.
8:15am without breakfast.

If you need to drop an older sibling at primary school before bringing your child to preschool, our early drop-off service could be the perfect solution.

From September, funded hours can be used for both Breakfast Club and Lunch Club. If funding is used for Breakfast Club, there is a small £1.50 charge to cover the cost of food.

We are pleased to offer full-day sessions for children from the term in which they turn three, subject to availability.

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Thursday 2nd October.

At the AGM we elect our committee for the coming year. As a charity-run preschool, our committee plays a vital role in ensuring the preschool continues to operate successfully.

Joining the committee is a fantastic way to:

Meet other parents and carers.
Support your child’s preschool.
Learn new skills and make a real difference.

We would love to welcome some new members.

Goodbye and Good Luck

This is always the hardest part of the year as we say goodbye to our older children.

It has been a privilege to watch them grow in confidence, develop new skills, and prepare for the exciting journey to school. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them and wish them every success as they begin this new chapter.

We would also like to thank all of our parents, grandparents and families for your support over the past two years. Your kindness and encouragement mean so much to us.

Finally, thank you for the lovely cards and thoughtful gifts given to the staff. Your generosity is truly appreciated.
